Some small breed dogs are more comfortable eating a small piece of dog food than for example, a Great Dane!
Meal time will be more enjoyable for your dog if they have a food that fits well in their mouth. Fast eating small dogs can also be prone to choking if the kibble size is too big or too hard.
Our cold pressed food is also much softer than extruded kibble making things easier all round!
Our 1.5kg Small Breed dog food contains rice
We’ve added rice to our 1.5kg Small Breed dog food because it is a great source of energy providing carbohydrates, and also contains Vitamin D, Fibre and Iron. While grains can be an issue for some dogs, rice is one of the good guys and is actually gluten free.
Unless your dog suffers from an intolerance to grains or struggles to absorb carbohydrates, an amount of gluten-free grain can serve as a great part of a healthy diet.
