When changing your dog’s food always do so gradually by replacing a little of the current food with Walker & Drake, and increase the proportion over a two week period until Walker & Drake is the only food offered. Remember to always weigh your dog food portions, cold pressed food is naturally more dense than extruded kibble so it is easy to overfeed your pooch.

Getting fussy eaters onto a new food can sometimes be a problem.
Here are a few tips to help you along the way.
1. Don’t be bossed by the dog!
2. Let’s assume your dog is happy and healthy? If not check with your vet before changing foods.
3. Transition slowly from the old food to the new food. Dogs often don’t like a change to their routine.
4. Try adding warm water and making the food into a porridge like consistency. Sometimes the novelty of a change in texture can work wonders.
5. Remove the food. If your dog refuses to eat the new food, remove the bowl after 15 minutes and try again several hours later.
6. Exercise – make sure your dog is well exercised, a tired dog is a hungry dog!
7. No table scraps or human meals!
This might take some of you raw feeders by surprise! Just relate this to humans, we only need to look at vegetarians, vegans and people who follow a predominantly plant based diet, the volume of their stools is far higher than a person who is a committed carnivore!
Our cold pressed kibble is 10mm diameter and the lengths vary.
It is much softer than standard extruded kibble though, think luxury flapjack rather than own brand ginger nuts!
